Estate and Trust Administration:

When a loved one dies leaving assets in their name, probate administration may be necessary to transfer the assets according to the will or according to the law in the event that a will does not exist.

Probate Administration is the court-monitored administration of an estate after death.  If one dies with a trust, and the assets are in the trust or flow to the trust, the trust requires administration after death as well.

Trust Administration does not require court involvement. We represent clients in probate administration of all sizes and the administration of revocable and irrevocable trusts. Trust administration has become more complicated as the result of recent statutory changes.
